SolvSeal F10 is a one-sided exterior window and door sealing tape developed for perimeter connection joints in solid and metal structures. Its advanced synthetic fleece and robust adhesive provide a reliable bond and allow the tape to be plastered over for a clean, integrated finish.

Designed specifically for the exterior side of window and door perimeter joints, SolvSeal F10 combines airtightness, driving-rain resistance, outward water-vapour diffusion and plaster compatibility in a practical exterior connection-sealing solution designed to improve energy efficiency and preserve the long-term performance of the completed window and door installation.

  1. Clean Bonding Surfaces: Carefully clean the bonding surfaces, ensuring that they are free from stripping agents, dust, debris, dirt, grease and grime.
  2. Remove the Backing: Remove the backing to reveal the adhesive and kiss-cut liner designed to match the relevant frame-system dimensions.
  3. Position the Tape and Press Down Firmly: Align SolvSeal F10 with the exterior connection area and apply it firmly across the surface.
  4. Overlap the Foil Ends: Overlap the foil ends as required to ensure that no loose sections remain.
  5. Plaster Over: Once bonding is complete, plastering can commence.

SolvSeal F10 is supplied in 25-metre rolls. Its custom kiss-cut design is tailored to the frame dimensions, supporting accurate application, reduced waste and efficient installation. An optional 19 mm adhesive strip on the fleece side can also be supplied for specified applications.

SolvSeal F10 is supplied ready to use. On suitable surfaces, it generally requires no primers or special treatments, reducing installation time and supplementary material requirements.
